Questions before you start.

Does SlideMind create slides or courses for me?

No. Despite its name, SlideMind is not a slide or presentation generator. You design the course, choose the learning goals and decide where interactions belong. SlideMind adds AI feedback, role-play and learner memory to the courses you build in Articulate Storyline, Rise or on any web page.

Can I use Dialogue Engine and Memory Engine independently?

Yes. They are two independent capabilities within SlideMind. Dialogue Engine provides contextual AI interactions without requiring Memory Engine. Memory Engine saves and retrieves learner information without requiring Dialogue Engine or an AI call. Combine them when you want saved information to inform a conversation or feedback.

Can I use learner memory without AI?

Yes. You can save and retrieve selected information without making an AI request. For example, recall a learner’s chosen goal or use a saved variable in branching rules you configure in your authoring tool.

How does this fit with my authoring tool and LMS?

SlideMind prepares a block for Rise, and for Storyline a ready-made slide or the code for your own. Your learning management system (LMS) delivers the course. Its learner identifier, the value used to recognise the same person, connects saved information across courses.
