Prices and payment
Standard prices are in USD: Starter is $9 monthly or $90 annually, Pro is $25 monthly or $250 annually, and Agency is $99 monthly or $990 annually. Pro Early Bird is $15 monthly or $180 billed once a year. Agency includes five workspaces; each additional workspace is $10 monthly or $100 annually. Discovery is free, with no card required.
A monthly subscription renews monthly and an annual subscription annually, unless cancelled. Standard annual prices include the equivalent of two months free. Pro Early Bird annual billing has the same $15 monthly equivalent as its monthly billing, with no additional annual discount. The checkout shows the plan, renewal period, applicable taxes and final total before you confirm. Tax treatment depends on the customer and transaction; paying in USD does not remove local tax obligations.
Stripe processes payments. Refunds are issued in the original currency, USD, through the original payment method where possible. Bank processing times may vary. Exchange-rate differences and bank conversion fees are not compensated by SlideMind, except where required by law.
Cancel renewal or change plans
You can cancel renewal yourself in the console. Cancellation stops the next renewal; paid access continues until the end of the period already paid for. A confirmation states the date access changes. There is no cancellation fee.
A downgrade takes effect at the end of the paid period. Resources above the new plan’s limits become read-only. The downgrade itself does not delete your content. Returning to Discovery keeps your account open; closing the account is a separate action.
Ordinary cancellation does not refund unused monthly subscription time. For annual subscriptions, the first annual payment has the 30-day guarantee below; ordinary cancellation after that window does not produce a prorated refund. Legal rights and the other refund rules on this page remain applicable. Annual customers can also use the pause policy. Agency customers can transfer a workspace to a client’s Starter or Pro account; that transfer does not refund their Agency subscription.
See Leaving and exporting data for the separate account-closure, recovery and deletion periods.
Take a break without losing paid time
A paid plan is eligible for one free pause of one to six months in each rolling 12-month period. You choose the resume date when scheduling the pause. The confirmation shows the pause dates and the revised renewal date.
- The console is read-only, with a complete export available.
- Published activities show a neutral message instead of a technical error.
- Learner memory is retained on your instructions. Ordinary retention settings and accepted erasure requests still apply.
- Purchased usage is preserved and unavailable for consumption during the pause. Included monthly allocations and automatic recharges are suspended.
- Saved personal provider keys are retained but not used.
- No subscription time is consumed, and no new service invoices or charges are generated during the pause.
Paid time remaining at the start of the pause is preserved, including on an annual plan. The renewal date moves forward by the pause’s duration. For example, four prepaid months remaining before a three-month pause means four prepaid months still remaining at resumption.
Service resumes automatically on the chosen date, with reminders 14 days and three days beforehand. Resumption does not trigger another subscription payment while prepaid time remains. If a payment is due and fails, the seven-day subscription grace period below applies.
Subscription refunds
Your first annual subscription: 30 days
Request a full refund within 30 days of your first annual subscription payment. The guarantee applies once per account, including when you switch from monthly to annual billing after using a monthly plan. The 30-day period starts with that first annual payment, with no condition on how intensively you used the product. Consumed included AI allocations are not deducted: SlideMind absorbs that cost.
This guarantee applies only to the first annual subscription payment. Earlier monthly payments are not included in its refund. Monthly subscriptions do not have this voluntary 30-day guarantee; you can cancel their next renewal and retain access until the end of the paid month. The forgotten-renewal policy below applies to both monthly and annual subscriptions, and applicable legal rights remain preserved.
Separately purchased usage is not deducted from a subscription refund or automatically refunded with it. It follows its own rules below. A subscription refund ends the refunded paid entitlement; the account can remain on Discovery, with excess resources read-only.
A forgotten renewal: seven days
A full renewal refund is available within seven days of the charge if you have not resumed productive use of the console during the renewed period. Reviewing or editing course content, configuring a workspace or testing an activity counts as productive use.
Signing in solely to manage billing, cancel, ask for help or request a refund does not disqualify you. Automatic traffic from learners using already-published activities does not disqualify you either. To request this refund, write to our support team at the address below.
Service interruptions and legal rights
Standard plans do not include a contractual uptime guarantee or automatic service-credit schedule. A major interruption is normally addressed through an extension of service. This does not exclude a refund or other remedy required by law, including rights separate from these voluntary guarantees.
Purchased AI usage
SlideMind Credits represent prepaid managed AI usage at 100 credits per $1 USD. Discovery’s 50 credits are a one-time introduction, offered at sign-up. Pro includes 300 credits per month and Agency 1,000 credits per month shared across its workspaces. Monthly included allocations expire without rollover, including with annual billing.
Each managed AI request draws on your credit balance according to the model used and the amount of content processed and generated. Starter uses purchased packs without a monthly included allocation. Personal provider usage is charged separately by that provider.
Purchased usage does not expire while the account remains open, including on Discovery, and is preserved during a pause. Using it still requires an eligible plan. Included allocations are not purchased usage and cannot be refunded.
Purchased usage is normally non-refundable and non-transferable, subject to mandatory rights and these exceptions:
- Accidental automatic recharge: a full refund if requested within 72 hours of the charge and no AI credits have been consumed since that recharge.
- Voluntary account closure: a refund of unused purchased usage requested within 30 days of effective closure.
- Termination by SlideMind or permanent shutdown: a refund of unused purchased usage under the ending-service policy.
Automatic recharge requires separate opt-in authorisation, with its trigger and charge amount disclosed. Turning it off stops future automatic recharges without cancelling the subscription.
Two different payment issues
Managed AI usage runs out
When your credit balance runs out, managed AI requests continue as a courtesy until the balance reaches −200 credits ($2 USD), so a learner is not cut off mid-conversation. This negative balance is deducted from the next credits added to your account. Managed AI requests then pause until you add credits or, on an eligible plan, select your own provider keys.
Running out of credits does not cancel or downgrade a paid subscription, erase memory or close a workspace.
A subscription payment fails
A failed payment that is actually due starts a seven-day grace period with two reminders to update the payment method. If payment remains unsuccessful, the account returns to Discovery and resources above its limits become read-only. This does not close the account or trigger deletion.
Read-only access and export remain available after the downgrade, including throughout the first 30 days. Public activities follow the new plan’s limits, using a neutral message where a paid feature is unavailable. Account closure, if separately chosen, follows the distinct recovery and deletion policy.
Price changes and a planned shutdown
Price increases or materially adverse billing changes are announced at least 30 days in advance, subject to longer notice or consent required by law. They do not change an already-paid period. You can cancel renewal without a cancellation fee before an eligible increase takes effect.
Pro Early Bird is a preferential rate of $15 USD per month or $180 USD billed once a year. The selected Early Bird subscription rate is honoured for as long as the Pro subscription continues to renew.
If SlideMind plans to cease operating permanently, we give at least 90 days’ notice, keep complete export access available, and refund unused subscription time on a prorated basis and unused purchased usage.
